About The Blue
As a family we have been working alongside our fantastic crew at The Blue for the past 23 years. Over this time we have built our much loved little pub into a popular attraction that is adored by visitors and locals alike. We all work hard to ensure that our guests enjoy a pub experience akin to walking into your 'local' at home - offering friendly service, a unique drinks selection and high quality home-cooked food. Our motto is... 'Enter as strangers, leave as friends'

Meet the Crew
Our awesome crew are always on hand to meet you with a cheery smile and the mission of ensuring you have the best experience possible during your visit to us. They are happy to help you in anyway possible, with product information and recommendations. Most of all, they love a good laugh!! So come on down and meet them for yourselves.
Accessibility
Due to our location at the end of the harbour and quayside, we do not have any customer parking available. From the car park at the top of the village, you can either enjoy a picturesque stroll through the village or catch the electric tram.
Charging points for those of you with electric cars can be found in the Millpool carpark in Looe.
There are also regular train and bus networks to Polperro from Plymouth, Looe, Pelynt, Liskeard and surrounding areas. Check out www.traveline.info to plan your car free journey.
Our Grade 1 listed building situated within an area of outstanding Natural Beauty and a conservation area. We are therefore limited to changes that we can make and cannot offer wheel chair access. However, we will do our very best to accommodate your needs during your visit.
Going Green
As a business in a small fishing and tourist village we pride ourselves on our commitment to sourcing local, sustainable produce and support of the local community. We are constantly striving to be as Environmentally aware as our much-loved Grade 1 listed building will allow, and are always seeking new Eco-Friendly Initiatives to help us achieve this.
We recycle all of our plastic, tin, cardboard and paper products, and are strong supporters of The Final Straw Campaign - whose aim is to make Cornwall the first plastic straw free county in the UK.
In our attempt to help make this goal a reality, we only use paper straws and other recyclable or bio-degradable takeaway products at The Blue Peter Inn.
Our current efforts and future Green Goals have recently led to us gaining a Silver Award from The Green Tourism board - an achievement we are extremely proud of! If you would like to read more about Green Tourism and their eco friendly objectives check out their website www.green-tourism.com
Also, if you love the outdoors and have 2 minutes to spare, why not grab a bag from us, borrow our litter picker and have a quick tidy up of the beach and harbour area. Bring what you collect back to us for recycling.
Four-legged Friends
We love dogs at The Blue, so your furry best friend is most welcome! We are perfectly situated on the South West Coast path, so why not enjoy a stunning picturesque walk and then treat yourselves to some tasty food and a well-deserved pint at the end of it!
With an endless supply of treats behind the bar, your dog will love his/her trip to The Blue too. Why not bring them along for Woof Wednesday where extra treats are flowing along with the opportunity to get their picture on our Facebook Woof Wall of fame!!
